Charm of Protection

Travel Insurance

Because all Camp payments are non-refundable, we strongly recommend that each camper protects their trip with travel insurance.

Travel insurance is coverage designed to protect against risks and financial losses that could happen while traveling. The risks range from minor inconveniences such as missed airline connections and delayed luggage all the way to more serious issues including injuries or major illness.

Each camper will have unique policy needs based on the total cost of their ticket and travel costs (such as flights) and their risk tolerance to common things such as (including but not limited to):

  • Age and health history
  • Illness or injury (of you or family member)
  • Covid specific coverage
  • Job Loss
  • Inclement weather/natural disaster
  • Your state/country of residence

Most standard travel insurance policies reimburse 100% of your covered trip costs if you cancel for a common reason such as the things listed above. Most states allow for an add-on coverage called Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) coverage. This additional coverage reimburses a portion of your covered trip cost (commonly 50-75%) if you cancel for any other reason not covered in the standard policy.

You may already have travel insurance benefits through a credit card or your insurance carrier, call them directly to check.

Another simple way to find a travel specific policy is to use a comparison site to enter your trip details and choose a policy that best protects your personal priorities.

Below are two leading comparison sites that are user friendly and offer unbiased comparisons and purchase of policies from top rated travel insurance companies.*

TravelInsurance.com – 10 years in business. Better Business Bureau rating = A+

InsureMyTrip.com – 20+ years in business. Better Business Bureau rating = A+

Keep in mind that most travel insurance coverage must be secured within 14 days of purchasing your ticket. The sites above will be able to give you full information about that.

Rooming FAQs

Ticket prices start at $949 in the pre-sale, and every ticket includes lodging for 5 days/4 nights, all of your food and non-alcoholic beverages, and access to nearly all classes and activities. Prices will increase should any tickets remain for the general public on sale.

Your ticket does not include travel, airfare, or recommend travel protection insurance; add-ons like airport shuttles, ropes course, and climbing wall will be available for purchase as we get closer to the event, and alcohol (beer/wine) will be available for purchase on site in the evenings.

There are options to set up a payment plan or pay in full for all tickets.

The pre-sale will open to deposit holders in mid-December. Specific booking details will be e-mailed to them directly.

With limited premium rooming options (like hotel rooms),  we’ll prioritize the pre-sale booking times based on Camp alumni status, NF Coaching clients, and other active NF customers.

If you placed a $199 deposit, a coupon for $199 will automatically be applied to your cart during check out.

With the $199 being applied to your first payment, that means you can secure your ticket for as little as $50 if you opt for a Top Bunk payment plan!

If there are any tickets remaining after the pre-sale, they will be available to the public to purchase in January, 2022.

Sign up for the e-mail list to be the first to know exact dates and details.

If you placed a deposit for the pre-sale but no longer wish to attend, send us an email at camp@nerdfitness.com and we will issue you a refund for your $199 deposit.

There are several room types available at Camp NF. Basic info is below, but even more info is available above.

  • Hotel Rooms – exactly as you may expect, hotel rooms are the most private option of all, with your own room and bathroom.

One note: when filling out your Camper Profile, do make sure you check the response “I’d like to be matched with another camper!” so we know to match you up!
